We´ve Arrived!

It took about 17 hours to fly from Ottawa to Newark, N.J. and then on to Lima, but it was worth it! We arrived at about 10:30 pm and were picked up by a bus that had been arranged by our hostel.
Our first impressions of Lima? Cars, cars, cars, and fumes, fumes, fumes! The traffic was crazy, especially around the airport, where a crush of cars and buses jockeyéd for position with no one giving in. A symphony of horns, all playing different notes. Still, we were all excited by it all!

Arriving in Lima was so weird. We went outside after getting our luggage, and there was so many people trying to give us a ride, or looking for someone that their supposed to pick up.
Then the traffic was craazyy! There were lanes .. but I dont think they knew how to use them. There could be a car going from one side going to the other, slowing down all the cars. So, then everyones getting mad beeping their horns. haha. and I thought Ottawa drivers were impatient.

Lime was great .. but nothing comes close to ayacucho yet. . . no not yet
